Biography:

Mr. Ram is deputed as a Chief Conservation Officer in Koshitappu Wildlife Reserve and also working as a “Nodal Officer” for elephant conservation in Nepal under the Department of National Parks and Wildlife Conservation (DNPWC). He is also a member of the IUCN Species survival commission Asian elephant specialist group (ASESG) He has more than 15 years of experience in working with elephants. He is a PhD student in Wildlife Science from the Wildlife Institute of India, Dehradun.  He is working on the research project “Landscape-level modelling of Asian Elephant Habitat, population & its interactions with Human in Nepal”.
